Welcome to the Local 611 website!

This past year has presented Local 611 with so many changes at our worksites impacting brothers, sisters, families, friends and community, and in such rapid succession, that it can make your head spin. And 'spin' we have!

As chair of your local executive, I would like to thank all of those members who have been there to help with advice and grievances, and provide support in our ongoing fightback campaigns. A special note of recognition goes to your local executive and stewards for their continuous contributions of time and energy whenever called upon over the past two years. For some that commitment has meant attending non-stop meetings three and four times a week and many weekends as well. Their dedication and activism has been very much appreciated and I am sure I can speak for our members when I say "thank you."
