Welcome to the Component 12, Administrative Services Local 1201 website! 

We will use this website to provide you with basic information about our local and local contacts, our component and union, to draw your attention to specific issues and activities as they arise and most importantly to solicit feedback from you about what you would like to see here.  Be patient though – we are just getting started!

Our local members  work at several hundred different worksites for a variety of employers including the Provincial Government, a number of authorities in the broader public sector such as Community Living BC, Land Titles and Survey Authority, Business Practices and Consumer Services Authority and for private employers such as EDS, MAXIMUS and TSI.

The geographic area that we are responsible for consists of Vancouver Island from Chemainus south including Victoria and the lower Gulf Islands of Saltspring, Mayne, Galiano, Saturna and Pender.

 

Both in the spring and fall we make regular worksite visits as part of our Member to Member Campaigns.  Our spring activities focus on Administrative Services Recognition Day.  Check out our Area 01 Calendar to get information on Local 1201 meetings and Steward Education events.
