Oak Bay Lodge on the agenda

(Victoria: January 11, 2010) BCGEU members Richard Ziemianski and Bhajan Tathgar, both who work at Oak Bay Lodge, attended the Oak Bay City Council meeting when the future of the Lodge was being discussed. The Vancouver Island Health Authority is proceeding with plans to privatize the facility. A number of residents were present, including Jessica Van der Veen, who has a mother at the Lodge.
