Salvation Army workers in Victoria ratify new contract

BCGEU workers at the Salvation Army in Victoria have voted to ratify a new contract at the Addictions Rehab Centre (ARC) and Salvation Army National Recycling Operations (SANRO).
The employees voted to ratify their existing collective agreement for one year, expiring March 31, 2010.
Workers at SANRO will receive a lump sum payment of $300 on March 31, 2009, as well as another $300 lump sum payment in December 2009.Workers at ARC recieved a three per cent general wage increase effective on April 1, 2009.
The BCGEU represents 86 members at the Salvation Army in Victoria.
