(Note: To register, you must live in Area 03 (Lower Mainland) or Area 04 (Fraser Valley). Preference will be given to those members who have not previously attended a women’s conference.)

BCGEU Region 2 Women’s Conference: 'Double Duty: Finding Life/Work Harmony'

This special event brings together women from across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. The conference begins on Friday evening, Oct. 15 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport (8181 Cambie Road, Richmond) with a dynamic guest speaker, followed by an opportunity to network and learn more about the work done by sisters in each of our components. The evening will wrap up with a social featuring lights snacks and a cash bar.

The conference continues on Saturday, Oct. 16, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. with a discussion on barriers to creating a life/work harmony, drawing on expert input and personal experience, along with a wrap-up session with ideas on implementing best-practices for achieving balance.

Travel, leave of absence and accommodation, if required, are paid by the union. Space is limited so register early!
