BCGEU concludes tentative collective agreement with LifeLabs

A tentative agreement has been reached between the BCGEU and LifeLabs following several days of mediated talks.

The three-year agreement expires on December 31, 2014.

It includes:

  • One-time lump sum payment equal to two percent payable upon ratification of the collective agreement.
  • One percent increase effective January 1, 2013.
  • One percent increase effective July 1, 2013.
  • Two percent increase effective July 1, 2014.
  • LTD and benefits remain unchanged.

We will have more information for you in the coming days. Ratification will take place as soon as possible.
