Re:                 Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Committee

We are pleased to announce the OHS committee met for the first time on March 20. Our committee members will be receiving union training at the union office later this month, and have resources of the union available to assist them with questions, concerns and feedback as necessary.

This committee works diligently to effectively address worker concerns under the WCB regulations as required by law, and as represented in the collective agreement. If you have any matters that should be addressed, please bring them to an OHS BCGEU representative.

At the We Care workplace and across the province, the BCGEU is a leader in advocating for better health and safety rules. The BCGEU works continuously to support and improve the working conditions of 73,000 members throughout British Columbia.

Our next meeting is April 21, 2017.
