AGENDA
The Union's Constitution and Bylaws prescribe Local Officer Elections be held every three (3) years. This is formal notice that nominations for the following Local 704 Executive positions are now open:

Chairperson (1)
1st Vice-Chairperson (1)
2nd Vice-Chairperson (1)
Treasurer (1)
Recording Secretary (1)
Member at Large (4)
Member at Large (Youth Worker) (1) (must be age 29 or less at the close of nominations)

Biographies
In the case of a contested position(s) candidates have the opportunity to provide biographies that are published on the Union's website. The deadline for the submission of biographies to the Fraser Valley Area Office is February 23, 2012 at 5:00 pm.

Election Period
In the case of a contested position(s) candidates will be provided with the names and contact information for stewards and have 30 clear days as per the Local Bylaws to campaign prior to the 'Voting Period'. 'The Election Period' will commence February 23, 2012 and carry through March 23, 2012.

Voting Period
The 'Voting Period' will be from March 26, 2012 to April 25, 2012. A separate notice will be posted with further details if an election is necessitated.
