Provincial Bargaining Update - Bargaining Back on Track

The BCGEU and the Road Builders Association have agreed to return to the bargaining table. The next round of negotiations will be held in Burnaby on February 22-26.

These negotiations are being carried out under the protocol established at the first round of talks. This protocol established a provincial table to discuss major issues common to all service areas in the province. The protocol also established local tables to discuss other issues.

Both the provincial agreement and local agreements will be subject to a single ratification vote by members in each service area.

Dates for local negotiations are being set for late February through to mid-March.
