TERMS OF REFERENCE

  • receives all resolutions submitted to the triennial Constitutional Convention of the BCGEU;
  • after receiving all resolutions submitted, refers such resolutions to the appropriate Convention Committee;
  • makes recommendations of concurrence or non-concurrence on all resolutions not referred to other Convention Committees;
  • develops composite resolutions, where appropriate, on resolutions not referred to other Convention Committees;
  • receives all resolutions submitted to the Provincial Executive for presentation to the B.C. Federation of Labour, Canadian Labour Congress or National Union of Provincial Government Employees Conventions;
  • makes recommendations to the Provincial Executive on the disposition of resolutions which are submitted by locals and/or components for presentation to BCFL, CLC or NUPGE Conventions.
