NCO call centre employees ratify first collective agreement
To employees of NCO:
CONGRATULATIONS! You voted 74% in favour of accepting your first collective agreement.
Your Collective Agreement is now in place and in effect. We will work on a final document that we can send to the printers and provide every one of you with your own pocket-sized copy.
Over the past year, since the BCGEU was certified to represent you, we have established a good working relationship with NCO. We believe we will continue to see an increase in the level of cooperation.
We have already planned for joint Steward/Management training in your new agreement and hope to have that planned before the end of this month.
We also look forward to the establishment of a Labour Management Committee, an Occupational Health and Safety Committee and we will have more elections for Shop Stewards in your workplace.
Your Bargaining Committee want to express their sincere thanks for your support over the past several months and will remain available to answer any questions you may have regarding this first agreement.
