Re: Negotiations Begin

Yesterday the union and employer committees met. Both committees put forward their bargaining demands for the renewal of the Collective Agreement.

There was productive discussion with regard to a number of issues that are of concern for the union committee. Good progress was made on a number of proposals.

Discussions on compensation matters will have to continue at a later date.

The committee thanks you for your patience and support during the negotiation process.
