Area 09 Activist Appreciation Event

On behalf of the BCGEU Area 09 Cross Component Committee, I would like to cordially invite you and your escort to our annual Appreciation Night.

                        TIME:               Happy Hour @ 6:00 p.m.

                                                 Dinner @ 7:00 p.m.

                        PLACE:            Fireside Inn

                                                 Castlegar, BC

The BCGEU will reimburse expenses in accordance with the Financial Manual.  Hotel rooms will be booked and pre-paid for out of town guests.  Hotel room receipts should be attached to your expense claim.  Once booked, if you are unable to attend and do not cancel your room through the West Kootenay Area Office, any charges will be your responsibility. Child care receipts are also required and are available through the Area Office.

After dinner a dance will follow.  The dance will start at 9:00 p.m.  If you would like to invite any BCGEU members or trade unionist friends and their escorts to join us then, free tickets are available through the Area Office (365-9979, or toll free 1-800-667-1061) by reservation only.

For catering and accommodation purposes, we must know in advance how many members and escorts will be attending and/or needing accommodations.  Please respond no later than Friday, April 16, 2010 if you require accommodations and no later than Monday, May 2, 2010 if you do not require hotel accommodations.  Once registered, should you be unable to attend, please contact the West Kootenay Area office.
