Re: Home Support Re-Tendering Update
At this time the vast majority of transfers of clients and Community Health Workers to the new Employers have taken place. The Union has scheduled a follow up meeting to discuss progress to date and any outstanding issues/concerns as well as to provide an update regarding items such as seniority, wage rates and benefits discussions.
Meetings have been scheduled as follows:
For Members transferred to Comcare:

Please note that the Home Support Hot Line will not be taking calls after June 30, 2010 therefore members are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled meetings to discuss any outstanding concerns. Members are also encouraged to contact their Local Stewards at their new worksites for assistance. Should you not know the name of your Steward it is posted at your worksite or you may call your Local area office for contact information.
