International Solidarity Rally Apr 2 at Peace Arch Park - bus/rally info

We Are One International Solidarity Rally
Date: Saturday, April 2, 2:00 pm
Where: Peace Arch Provincial Park on the Canada-U.S. border

The BCGEU is joining unions from British Columbia, Oregon and Washington at a rally to stand in solidarity with workers who are struggling to keep their right to collective bargaining in the United States. An injustice to one is an injustice to all!

This event is being organized jointly by the B.C. Federation of Labour, the Washington State Labour Council AFL-CIO, and the Oregon AFL-CIO.

Bus transportation will be provided from BCGEU offices in Burnaby (4925 Canada Way, Burnaby) and the Fraser Valley (Fraser Valley Union Centre 8555 - 198A Street, Langley). Please be at the office by noon at the latest. You must reserve a spot on a bus by email.

We won't be crossing the border, but you will need to bring two pieces of identification, such as a passport, government issued photo identification (i.e.- driver’s licence) and birth certificate or Canadian immigration document.
