ProTrans BC bargaining update: first collective agreement approved by 87% vote in favour

The bargaining committee is pleased to advise that the tentative agreement has been ratified by the BCGEU membership at ProTrans BC by a margin of 87% in favour. The employer ratified the agreement earlier this week.

We wish to thank all BCGEU members for your continued support through this long negotiation process. We look forward to a constructive relationship between the BCGEU and ProTrans BC now that the first collective agreement has been ratified.

There will be some new processes at the worksite as the collective agreement provisions unfold. We will have to work to ensure that provisions are adhered to by all parties.

Your rights flowing from the ratified agreement are now in effect.
