Pursuant to Local Elections occurring every three years and the Local 104 Bylaws, nominations are now open for the following Executive positions.

All Districts

  • Chairperson – 1 position
  • Recording Secretary – 1 position
  • Excutive Member (Youth Worker) – 1 position (29 years of age or younger)

District I 

  • Vice Chairperson (Ford Mountain Correctional Centre) – 1 position
  • Executive Member  (FMCC) – 1 position

District II 

  • Vice Chairperson – (Surrey/Abbotsford/Chilliwack Court Houses) 1 position
  • Executive Member  (Surrey Court House) – 1 position
  • Executive Member (Abbotsford/Chilliwack Court House) – 1 position

District III 

  • Vice Chairperson - (Surrey Pre-Trial Services Centre) – 1 position
  • Executive Member  (SPSC) – 1 position

District IV 

  • Vice Chairperson (Alouette Correctional Centre for Women) – 1 position
  • Executive Member (ACCW) – 1 position

District V

  • Vice Chairperson (Fraser Regional Correctional Centre) – 1 position
  • Executive Member (FRCC) – 1 position

Nomination forms are attached for each position.  Nomination forms must be completed and returned to the Fraser Valley Area Office no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 (via facsimile to 604-882-5032 or toll free 1-800-946-0249) or can be brought to the General Meeting.

Should the Union receive more nominations than positions available, the Union will conduct an election.
