Vancity bargaining scheduled to begin

Your Bargaining Committee is pleased to report that negotiations for a new collective agreement are scheduled to commence February 1, 2012.

Last week, your Bargaining Committee and alternates met for several days, in caucus, to develop proposals for bargaining. We reviewed the questionnaires received from the membership and have incorporated the priority issues into the proposals.

We currently have confirmed dates to meet with the Employer on February 1, 3, 6, 8 and 17.
