Public Service Agreement Component voting results

BCGEU members have ratified the tentative Public Service Master Agreement with the provincial government by 71 percent.

Members also voted on Component agreements. The results of those are:

Component 1 (Correctional and Sheriff Services):	45.5% in favour
Component 2 (Hospital and Allied Services):	83.1%
Component 5 (Retail, Stores and Warehouse):	64.1%
Component 6 Social, Information and Health):	72.3%
Component 12 (Administrative Services):	79.2%
Component 20: (Environment, Technical and Operational):	84.5%

In the case of Component 1, the existing Component agreement will continue to be in place. The Component will be meeting to consider their next steps.

The Component 1 vote does not impact the vote on the Master Agreement or the other Component agreements.
