On behalf of your Bargaining Committee, I am pleased to advise that the Union and your Employer will soon begin negotiations on a new collective agreement.
Bargaining will commence on March 22-24, 2016. Three days have been set aside to begin negotiations and we commit to keeping members informed as talks progress.
Finally I am pleased to announce that Lee Losell has been elected to the position of BCGEU Alternate on the Bargaining Committee. In the unlikely event that one of the committee members is unable to participate in negotiations, Lee will be called upon to take that persons place. Congratulations also goes out to the other members who accepted their nominations for this position.
In the meantime please rest assured that the terms and conditions of your current collective agreement remain in full force and effect until a new agreement is ratified.
