Employer ends Profit Sharing Plan (PSP) for Hard Rock Casino BCGEU Members - BCGEU

You may have noticed that the PSP is now missing from your biweekly pay. Some managers have been telling members that the Union was supposed to make an announcement the Employer was terminating the Profit Sharing Plan in August.

Why would the Union announce that? Your employer made the decision to take away this employee benefit and it is their responsibility to tell you.

Bargaining is scheduled to resume on September 12th and the Union remains focused on negotiating a fair & reasonable collective agreement. There will be improvements to the current entitlements you receive. If the Employer has terminated your PSP, that money should be added to your wage package to make up for it. Isn't that what the Employer did for the non‑union workers?

To help ensure you receive a copy of bargaining updates please provide a personal email address to the BCGEU at http://www.bcgeu.ca/update. If we already have an email address on file for you and you wish to edit or update any of your existing contact information, you can use the same form.

In solidarity,
