Following the strike vote conducted on September 25th, your bargaining committee met with the Employer to resume negotiations on October 24^th but unfortunately the parties remain far apart on monetary items. 

The Employer's last offer was a 1.5% general wage increase with no guarantee of retroactivity. The bargaining committee has not accepted this offer and is seeking mediation to assist with negotiations.

We held a meeting at the worksite Tuesday to discuss the issues with you. We are not going to release the content of that meeting as we expect the employer to be reading this bulletin. Your bargaining committee is considering what you told us. At this point, you are encouraged to speak with your on-site bargaining committee members Jenny and Janice to discuss your issues further before we proceed to mediation.
