VANCOUVER-The B.C. Public Service Agency has reached a tentative collective agreement with the union representing government employees, nine months before their existing contract was set to expire.
The government announced the formation of a three-year tentative agreement in a news release Wednesday afternoon. It's the first agreement to be formed under the NDP government's Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate, which sets out the expectation that the government engage in modern, forward-looking negotiations with unions.
