Re: Bargaining Set to Resume February 9, 2017
Your bargaining committee was set to resume collective agreement negotiations with the Employer on January 10th. Unfortunately a sudden winter storm occurred, which forced travel cancellations. Though disappointing, we secured another date as quickly as we could and will return for talks on February 9th.
Negotiations so far with the Employer have been productive, and your bargaining committee is hopeful that a tentative agreement will soon be reached. In the meantime, the your current collective agreement remains in full force and effect, until a new one has been presented to you for ratification.
