Re:    Bargaining Update ? Bulletin #3:   Bargaining Committee Election

Nominations have closed for the Chairperson of the Bargaining Committee and Bargaining Committee Members at your worksite. 

Sue Moen has been acclaimed as the Chairperson of the Bargaining Committee.

The following are the nominees for Bargaining Committee Members:

• Deborah Chamberlain  
• Terrie Woods
• Kathy Bolan

The BCGEU is holding elections for two Bargaining Committee Members.  Positions will be appointed based on number of votes. 

Bargaining bulletin #1 dated January 30, 2017 outlined the nomination process indicating candidates could submit a biography along with their nomination form.  No biographies or campaign bulletins were submitted to the Union. 

As per the BCGEU's Constitution and Bylaws, ballots must randomize the names of candidates.  As such the order of candidate names on the ballot may differ from the order listed on this bulletin. 

All members in good standing within the bargaining unit are eligible to vote and will be mailed ballots. 

If you are a member in good standing and do not receive a ballot, please contact BCGEU Negotiations Department immediately  at 1-800-663-1674.

Instructions on how to complete the ballot are enclosed.

Please return your completed ballot in the stamped, self-addressed envelope.  The deadline to return ballots is no later than 5:00pm on April 6, 2017.
