The ballots that were sent to the worksite were incorrect. New ballots will be sent. Members must pick three names to fill three positions on the bargaining committee. If three names are not indicated on the ballot, it will be considered spoiled. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The following are the nominees for Bargaining Committee Members:

• Monty Qureshi

The BCGEU is holding elections for three Bargaining Committee Members. The two nominees who are not elected to the bargaining committee will stand as alternates. Positions will be appointed based on number of votes. Voting starts Thursday, April 18th and ballots will be available at the Front Desk at Harbour Light and Beacon. This is a mail-in ballot.

As per the BCGEU's Constitution and Bylaws, ballots must randomize the names of candidates. As such the order of candidate names on the ballot may differ from the order listed on this bulletin.

All members in good standing within the bargaining unit are eligible to vote and will be mailed ballots. If you are a member in good standing and do not receive a ballot, please contact BCGEU Negotiations Department immediately at (604) 291-9611.

Instructions on how to complete the ballot and a bargaining survey will be available with your ballot. Please include your completed survey with your ballot.

Please return your completed ballot in the stamped, self-addressed envelope. Ballots must be received at HQ by no later than 5:00pm on Friday, May 10, 2019.
