The Employer and Union Bargaining Committees met at the BC Labour Relations Board on Friday, August 4th to attempt to resolve the issues in dispute. The Union tabled what we thought would meet your needs, based on what we heard from the people that came out to our meetings over the last few weeks. The Employer has taken away our proposal to think about it. So, we did not reach an agreement.
The parties are scheduled to meet again at the BC Labour Relations Board on Friday, August 11th to discuss essential service levels for potential strike action.
