The Barkerville Bargaining committee is pleased to announce they have reached a tentative agreement as of last night.

Numerous improvements to the agreement include:

Wage Increase 2% per Year over 3 year term.

• Long service increases at 5 and 10 years for entry level positions
• Increase to Vacation for all members
• Increase Sick Leave - Medical/Dental for all members
• Mid-shift premium
• Several changes in language regarding harassment/ bullying
• Procedures for all Harassment complaints
• New mental health and domestic violence language
• Equal rights

There are many improvements with this round of bargaining and the committee is recommending ratification of this agreement.
