Since negotiations first commenced on May 15^th, your Bargaining Committee has attended a regular schedule of meetings with the Employer. At these sessions, both sides tabled and discussed non-monetary proposals only. Headway was made in a number of areas while some items still require further negotiation.

Summer schedules can be difficult to coordinate and the parties have scheduled additional dates at the end of September to continue negotiations. At these sessions, we will work on resolving the remaining non-monetary items before tabling monetary proposals. We anticipate providing another bargaining update following the next round of talks.

Save the Date – Your Bargaining Committee is partnering with the Maintenance Bargaining Committee and will be available to meet with members, as follows:

· Penticton – August 26^th & 27^th**

· Victoria - August 29^th & 30^th**

· Prince George – Dates to be determined**
