Our current Collective Agreement with our employer expires on June 30, 2019 and your union bargaining committee is now preparing to negotiate our next agreement. This questionnaire is an opportunity for you to identify any issues, concerns, or improvements you would like brought forward for consideration in negotiations and will assist the Bargaining Committee in setting its bargaining priorities.
For reference, you may also wish to review details of the changes that the BCGEU recently negotiated on behalf of direct government employees. While this is not our agreement, the terms and benefits negotiated will likely act as a template in our collective agreement negotiations. Whether you are a new or existing union member, it is important to voice your opinions and ideas so we can work together and support improvements in our careers and workplace. Your responses will only be shared among your Bargaining Committee members and will remain confidential.
