The BCGEU and Vancity have formalized the newly bargained Joint Labour-Management Committee structure. These meetings are an opportunities for members to bring forward issues and concerns on an even playing field with management. A shop steward will be attending each meeting to represent branch members. Topics for discussion include, but are not limited to, job training, health and safety, changes to Vancity's operations, as well as issues regarding the collective agreement.

If you have an issue that you would like to discuss with management, or you’ve identified a potential breach in the collective agreement, please let your local shop steward know. Shop stewards are often able to keep issues confidential at these meetings.
