Several members have asked for clarification around the timing of the Temporary Market Adjustments (TMAs) implementation for Component 1 and Component 6 members in select job classifications experiencing recruitment and retention challenges.

The union had been engaged in discussions with the employer and have received confirmation that the TMAs for affected workers in these components will be effective starting April 1, 2019.

Please note, however, that the General Wage Increases (GWIs) are effective April 14, 2019, which means that for the period of April 1 to April 13, the TMAs will be applied to the old rates of pay that were in effect at that time.
