This is to advise that BCGEU Stewards' Training has been scheduled for:

• Tuesday, April 28th, Wednesday, April 29th & Thursday, April 30th, 201, at the
• BCGEU Peace River Area Office, 10251 100th Street, Fort St. John, BC.

Leave of Absence Forms will be provided for you. This means that the Union will pay your Employer for you to attend this training.  Please provide the necessary information on the enclosed Registration Form and FAX back to this office (250) 785-0048 or Toll Free Fax 1-800-946-0255 as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday April 7th, 2015, in order that these Leave of Absence requests may be processed immediately. A copy will be faxed back to you with your confirmation and the original will be forwarded to you via mail.

Please notify your Supervisor immediately of the dates you are required to be absent and that a Leave of Absence, from the Union, is forthcoming. You will also need to complete your Employer’s leave request form immediately.

Training is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.at the Peace River Area Office in Fort St. John. Lunch will be supplied, please indicate any dietary needs on the Registration form.

If possible, please bring your Collective Agreements with you.

In the event that accommodation may be required, the Area Office will also need to know in order that rooms may be booked in advance. Accommodation will be by direct billing and will be for room and taxes only. You will be advised of the hotel, if required, when we confirm your attendance. Any other expenses incurred are to be paid for independently and claimed back on an expense claim form where applicable e.g. meals, phone calls etc.
