Today Dean Purdy, BCGEU vice president and chair of Corrections and Sheriff Services - Component 1, spoke with Kash Heed on Pulse 107.7 FM.
The interview focused on the chronic shortage of sheriffs and the impact on our courts. Purdy also talked about the need to increase compensation for sheriffs who are leaving BC Sheriff Services for other, higher paid law enforcement work.
