Nominations are open for the following Local 104 Executive position:

• District V:  Vice-Chairperson (Fraser Regional Correctional Centre)
• District III:  Member at Large (Surrey Pretrial Services Centre)

Members who are interested in running for the above positions must be employed at the respective Centre where the position is designated.

The term is for one year.  The BCGEU Nomination form (attached) must be used and should be submitted at this meeting.  The form may also be submitted to the Area Office by fax (604-882-5032/toll free 1-800-946-0249), email ([email protected]), mail, or handed in personally, no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014.  Please note that only one nomination form is required for each person being nominated.  In an effort to use less paper and be more earth friendly, only one nomination form is attached.  Please make any necessary copies.

If an election is required, all candidates may provide one page (8½ x 11) for copying and distribution to members with ballots.  This must be provided to the Area Office within one business day of the close of nominations (5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2014).
