By now 90 per cent of direct government workers have received the wage increase and retroactive wages negotiated under the new collective agreement.

However, the Public Service Agency informs us there have been delays processing the wage increase and retroactive pay for about 10 per cent of direct government workers. These delays affect BCGEU members who are covered by a Temporary Market Adjustment, salary protection, a classification adjustment or members who are on leave without pay or maternity/parental leave.

The Public Service Agency informs us these members will receive the wage increase and retro pay by the February 15th payment.

For workers on LTD,  wage increases and retro pay should have been included in December or January payments.

Employees who are now terminated should receive all adjustments by March 1st.
