The WCB has informed the union that they will be conducting their inspection at the North Fraser Pre-Trial Centre (NFPC) starting next week on April 22 through April 25. This is the commitment they have made to conduct in-depth inspections at all nine provincial jails in BC.

WCB officers will be interviewing Correctional Officers at NFPC and the union encourages any and all of its members to speak with them about any workplace safety concerns. These interviews will be completely confidential and private (union representation if requested) with only WCB officers present. It is very important that any examples given to the WCB have specifics of times, dates, etc.
