This year, we honour the work that you do keeping our healthcare system strong and resilient. Your patients, their families and the wider community benefit immensely from your hard work and dedication to those you serve.

Your dedication, expertise, and compassion form the backbone of our healthcare system, often under conditions of intense pressure and personal sacrifice. You provide comfort and critical care when our communities need it most. Your union stands with you, committed to ensuring the respect, safety, and fair compensation that your vital work deserves.

We know the work you do is critical in keeping our communities healthy and safe – but the decades of underinvestment in health care workers has contributed to chronic understaffing creating impossible working conditions resulting in burnout and stress. This is unacceptable and you deserve much better.

Your union will continue to fight for better working conditions and better wages and benefits for all workers because the work you do keeps our communities healthy and strong.
