Nominations are now open for the following positions on the transition committee:

• Burnaby Office Representative – One (1)

• Kamloops Office Representative – One (1)

• Victoria Office Representative – One (1)

The transition committee will liaise with members on matters arising from the conclusion of Themis's contract with the BC Government in October 2019, and the transition of Family Maintenance Enforcement Program (FMEP) staff to employment with a new entity. The committee will work with Union Staff Representatives and other elected officials to help ensure members' voices are heard and interests are protected and advanced through the transition process.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

Candidates may submit one page of information (8 ½" x 11", black and white) that will be distributed to members with ballots and posted on the BCGEU website if an election is required. The deadline for submitting candidate information is Friday, March 22, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
