Thanks to the hard work of health care providers across BC, including many BCGEU members, B.C.'s Lieutenant Governor has once again proclaimed January 2018 to be the Health Services Providers Month!

The new proclamation recognizes duties performed in residential care, assisted living, home and community care, rehabilitation services, public health, mental health and addiction services, laboratory services, support work, acute care, emergency care, and maternity and primary health care.

The BCGEU would like to congratulate all of our members working on in health care for receiving this important recognition. On this Health Services Providers Month, we extend our respect and appreciation for the critical work you do in providing essential health services to British Columbians.
