BCGEU is proud to celebrate and acknowledge National Nursing Week 2018. Nursing Week is a time to recognize the year-round commitment of these caring frontline health care providers. 

"I don't know anyone whose life has not been touched by a nurse," said Stephanie Smith, BCGEU president. "Nurses are critical to the health and wellbeing of the patients they care for and the loved ones of those patients. And their dedication and professionalism also play a huge role in ensuring the effectiveness of our healthcare system and the health of the communities they serve. It's my honour to count nurses among the members that I represent and it's my pleasure to take this opportunity to thank them for everything they do."

From Kelowna to Victoria to White Rock, the BCGEU proudly represents over 100 LPNs who work in residential care facilities and other worksites all across the province.
