COMPONENT 20 - ENVIRONMENT, TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONS
Component 20 includes members who work for the B.C. Government engaged in engineering support and inspectional duties at the technical level, as well as those charged with protecting and regulating natural resources or ensuring the quality of the environment.
Further to the close of nominations on April 5, 2019, we are pleased to inform you that Myke Labelle has been acclaimed to one of the two vacant Member-at-Large positions. BCGEU members from communities around our province will be attending Day of Mourning events on April 28th. Some will be there to honour and remember their co-workers and family members. Some will attend to show solidarity with those who have been affected by the death of a worker. The provincial government will be lowering flags on all provincial government buildings to honour the day.
