Update: Overtime policy grievance for MCFD Social Workers
The BCGEU and the employer have agreed on the appointment of arbitrator Chris Sullivan. The parties have been in contact with his office regarding the scheduling of the arbitration hearing. The arbitration hearing will proceed on May 1-4, 2017.

Work-Able Graduate Internship Program
The BCGEU is pleased to announce we have negotiated an agreement with the Public Service Agency to establish an internship program for individuals who self-identify as a person with a disability. The program is designed to support the recruitment and retention of people with disabilities.
Each internship will run for 12 months, and a maximum of 15 internships will be available per year.
