The BCGEU Financial Institution Bargaining Council is (from left to right): Jennifer Keenan (Union Bay CU), Megan McKinney (BCGEU Staff), Kimberley Wallace (First CU), Dani Noble (Interior Savings Thompson), Ria Webster (Vancity CU), Tracy Noseworthy (Grand Forks District CU), Jennifer Sipma (Lakeview CU).

The BCGEU Financial Institution Bargaining Council (FIBC) meets twice every year to coordinate and share bargaining strategies and priorities, with the goal of getting consistent and fair language in all our credit union collective agreements, and building solidarity at our worksites and across the financial institution sector.

Your FIBC had their semi-annual in-person meeting this October 24th and 25th in Vancouver to discuss member engagement and how to empower BCGEU members in the workplace, as well as how to best realize our collective goals at the bargaining tables. FIBC members left feeling energized and excited to have had the opportunity to collaborate and plan for our future bargaining goals.
