Shop stewards are the workers' representatives in the workplace. They act as a liaison between the worksite and the union. A steward's role is to enforce the collective agreement and protect your rights.

If you are interested or know of anyone who may be interested, please complete the attached Nomination form and return it to the BCGEU Okanagan Area Office by facsimile 1-800-946-0252 or 250-763-9233 by September 2, 2019.

Please note that the BCGEU provides necessary training for shop stewards with paid union leave.
