Now the bargaining committee has been elected we move closer to bargaining a first agreement with your employer. Today the BCGEU served official notice to bargain with your employer. We are completing all preparations during August. Your bargaining committee and staff representative will meet later this month to discuss, prepare and finalize our bargaining proposals.
We intend to begin bargaining in September and have proposed multiple bargaining dates to your employer and are awaiting their response.
