As members will know, the employer requested a change to the renewed collective agreement. Specifically that Article 22.4 should return to previous contract language. The union agreed to this change and submitted the change to members for ratification last week. The results being that members did indeed endorse this change by ratifying it.

With this final step in place, the finalization process for the new contract is now underway. In the meantime, the new agreement is in place with full force and effect.
