As you know, the current collective agreement expires on December 31, 2017. Nominations are now open for a Bargaining Committee Chair and Bargaining Committee members.
 
The Bargaining Committee has three positions, as follows:
 
One – Bargaining Committee Chair
Two – Bargaining Committee Member
 
Members who are interested need only one form for each position they are interested in.
 
Those members who are interested in the Bargaining Committee Chair position, and in being a member of the Bargaining Committee should complete two nomination forms – one form for the Bargaining Committee Chair position and one form for a Bargaining Committee Member position.
 
If more than three people are nominated to the Bargaining Committee, elections will be conducted to determine who will be appointed to each position.
 
Nomination forms are attached.
 
Nominations must be received by the BCGEU Negotiations Department c/o BCGEU Headquarters by no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
 
A bargaining survey will be sent out after the committee has been elected.
