Re: EMPLOYER WALKS AWAY FROM BARGAINING TABLE!
· December 8th - The union tabled its monetary proposal package
· January 19th - Employer tabled their very insulting monetary counter proposal
· January 22nd - The union responds with another monetary counter proposal
· January 23rd - Employer refuses to show up for bargaining, and advises Union that talks are off!
They could not even tell us this news in person. They sent a letter instead! Typical disrespect! Typical arrogance!
The time has come to take a strike vote!
Your employer has not only insulted everyone with inadequate monetary, they also are refusing to move on seniority, hours of work and scheduling proposals to name but a few. They want status quo! We are never going to let that happen!
In the coming days strike vote information meetings will be scheduled. Keep checking your emails for further information on dates, times, and location.
