Welcome to our Health Facilities bargaining hub!

The current collective agreement for BCGEU members working in the Health Facilities sector expired March 31, 2025. Negotiations for a new collective agreement with the Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC) began on February 21, 2025.

The main issues that BCGEU members will bring to the table with the other unions of the Facilities Bargaining Association (FBA) include wage increases to keep up with the rising cost of living, increased workload leading to stress and burnout, improved coverage for health benefits (including improved access to pharmaceutical, vision, dental and mental health services) and pension improvements so that members can retire with dignity.
